On 16 August 2026 at 11:00 a.m., the traditional mountain mass of the Austrian Alpine Club Mondsee will take place with Pastor Dr. Ernst Wageneder and Prelate Johann Holzinger, accompanied by music from the Mondsee Citizens' Band. The inauguration of the new Schafberg Cross will also take place as part of the 2026 mountain mass.
