The SchafbergBahn runs daily to the Schafbergspitze from April 26th.

With our new ticket, dogs travel at a flat rate of € 7.00. The day pass is valid for all regular trips on the SchafbergBahn cog railway and WolfgangseeSchifffahrt ferries.
Please note that dogs must be secured with a muzzle and leash and require a valid ticket.
Children up to the completed age of 4 for whom no seat is required, will be transported at no charge. Children ages 4 to 14 receive the discounted rate.
Unforunately, prams cannot be taken along, there is a place where they can be parked.
The group price is valid for groups of 10 or more.
The discounted prices are valid for owners of a Salzkammergut Erlebnis Card.

No, tourist offers such as the SchafbergBahn are not included in the climate ticket.
No, the KlimaTicket and the ÖBB Vorteilscard are not valid for tourist attractions such as the SchafbergBahn. A regular ticket is required for the journey.
Until 31 October 2025, children up to the age of 14.99 can travel free of charge on the SchafbergBahn (ascent and descent) on Fridays from 1.30 pm when accompanied by an adult.
Until 27 October 2025, senior citizens aged 60 and over can travel on the SchafbergBahn on Mondays from 1.30 pm at a special rate.
The SchafbergBahn is not included in the Guest Mobility Ticket. Please buy a regular ticket for the journey.
There are no discounts for the SchafbergBahn for the disabled pass, disabled person's pass or severely disabled person's pass.
